Role and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the ___Production Supervisor__, the Waste Operator is a key role in coordinating the cleanliness of the production floor and keeping the essential supplies stocked. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the everyday standards of the ID Logistics client.
Schedule: AWW Mon - Thur/4am-2:30pm (4/10-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $17.94 per hour
Status: Non-exempt
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Work closely with the Production Supervisor on warehouse housekeeping.
- Pickup recycled corrugated cardboard and process through the compactor.
- Utilize a manual pallet jack.
- Keep stations/tables with enough product such as: labels, coffee pallets, cardboard, pallets to build.
- Keep the production floor clean.
- Responsible for trash containers in corresponding areas including emptying and disposing of trash.
- Assist with cleaning of common space areas such a restroom, breakroom, and or offices when needed.
- Maintenance and organization of the damaged pallets outside of the warehouse.
- Communicate all issues to Production Supervisor.
- This job will include other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
