Vacuum Truck Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Vacuum Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks to perform a variety of industrial and environmental services, including the removal of liquids, sludge, and debris from designated sites. Your expertise in truck driving combined with your attention to safety and efficiency will ensure smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Duties

• Operate vacuum trucks equipped with tanks, hoses, and pumps to perform liquid and sludge removal tasks efficiently and safely
• Drive tractor-trailers, including manual transmission vehicles, along designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Conduct routine inspections of the vacuum truck before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Route driving across various sites, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of waste materials or freight in a variety of truck configurations such as flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, or roll-off truck
• Maintain accurate logs of all trips, loads, inspections, and service records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate route schedules, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred
• 2 plus years proven truck driving experience
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods when necessary
• Experience with tractor-trailers and specialized equipment such as vacuum trucks or dump trucks is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and hazardous material handling where applicable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
