Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Hydrovac Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate specialized hydrovac equipment to safely excavate around utilities and structures, ensuring precision and safety on construction sites. Your expertise will help us deliver efficient excavation solutions while maintaining the highest safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating hydrovac trucks and related heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, graders, water trucks, and dump trucks to perform excavation tasks.
• Safely excavate around underground utilities and infrastructure using high-pressure water jets and vacuum systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on hydrovac equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and protect team members on-site.
• Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate excavation activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including site conditions, equipment usage, and safety checks.
• Assist in setting up work zones, traffic control measures, and site cleanup as needed.

Requirements

• Previous hydrovac technician experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, water jet technology, and vacuum systems used in hydrovac operations.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively. .
