Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Dodge Ram 2500 pick up truck with a 40ft goose neck flatbed trailer across designated routes with a focus on timely delivery and load integrity
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations and company policies
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly
• Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while adhering to safety standards
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or delays
• Handle special cargo requirements such as hazardous materials or over sized loads when applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional truck driving experience with a valid CDL license (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Proven experience operating manual transmission trucks and various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks
• Strong knowledge of freight handling, load securing techniques, and route planning strategies
• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as needed
• Experience with route driving in diverse environments and conditions
• Excellent safety record with a commitment to following all transportation laws and regulations
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy cargo or equipment when required
