As a function of the Outagamie County Recycling and Solid Waste Department and under the direct management of the Recycling and Solid Waste Director, this position provides planning, scheduling and directing of personnel, projects, and equipment, as it relates to all aspects of the Material Recovery Facility maintenance and production programs, and the overall recycling and solid waste campus infrastructures, environmental systems and equipment management.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM and on call as needed. This position does have overtime and comp time possibilities

What makes a candidate successful in this role?
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-oriented operations professional with experience in recycling or heavy industrial environments. This individual maintains an active presence on the plant floor, leads by example, and works alongside staff to support daily production goals. They are comfortable troubleshooting equipment and stepping in to resolve mechanical or operational issues to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
