Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Commercial Front Load CDL Driver to join our team! This position is focused on operating commercial front-load trucks for waste collection from local businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up, packing, and dumping flip-top dumpsters behind commercial properties, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible waste disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial front-load truck.
• Start shifts between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM, ensuring timely completion of waste collection routes.
• Collect waste from flip-top dumpsters located behind commercial properties, ensuring the truck is properly loaded and waste is compacted.
• Dump waste at designated landfills or transfer stations, following all company guidelines for disposal and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of waste collected, including proper documentation of service completions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any maintenance issues to management.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and waste management policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring waste is properly collected and bins are returned to the correct location after servicing.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure safe and clean operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a front-load truck or similar heavy-duty vehicle (preferred).
• Previous waste management or commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, beginning between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks and handle heavy waste containers.
• Ability to drive for long periods while maintaining focus and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
