Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, to transport freight such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks.
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Drive route-driven deliveries within designated areas, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
• Manage freight handling for various types of loads, including roll-off trucks and specialized equipment.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports throughout your shift.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely service.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• Occasional Saturdays as needed

• Home daily (occasionally may stay out 1 night depending on workload)

Pay:

• $1,100 – $1,400 per week

• 2,000 – 2,500 miles per week

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL

• Minimum 6 months verifiable experience

• Clean MVR (no major violations)

• TWIC Card (required before start date)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement

• Port/Intermodal experience
