Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will be essential to our success. Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security.
• Transport various types of freight, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized cargo.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while managing delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is preferred.
• Delivery driver experience involving freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving.
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading cargo.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial trucking and cargo securement standards.

Pay: $3,740.96 - $4,505.24 per week
