Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver with a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience, preferably within the scrap metal, auto salvage, metal recycling industry. This is a key position in our operations, responsible for safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transport scrap metal, crushed vehicles, and recyclable metals
• Haul containers, roll-offs, and heavy equipment as needed
• Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, yard personnel, and customers
• Follow all safety policies and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 5 years of Class A driving experience (required)
• Experience in scrap metal, auto salvage or recycling industry
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of load securement and DOT compliance
• Ability to operate manual transmissions (if applicable)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments
