Vacuum Truck Operator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vacuum Truck Operator to join our construction and heavy equipment operation team. This role involves transporting materials and equipment to various construction sites while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating hydro vac jetting and cleaning. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction site operations and commercial driving to contribute to diverse projects, including, but not limited to Prevailing Wage projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial trucks for transporting construction materials, equipment, and machinery to designated sites.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks and heavy machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Assist with the setup and operation of CIPP lining daily operations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle logs, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to coordinate timely deliveries and equipment movement.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation on construction sites.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Hazmat addition is a bonus.
• Travel Required. MUST be willing to travel.
• MUST be able to work Prevailing Wage.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as hydro vacuum and dump trucks.
• Construction site experience preferred; familiarity with excavation, horizontal drilling, tanker operations, and other specialized tasks is a plus.
• Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading materials and inspecting vehicles/equipment.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
