Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Sanitation Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties

• Safely operate front loader, rear loader, roll-off to collect waste from designated locations.
• Load and unload waste materials using mechanical knowledge of different truck types and lifting techniques.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Drive heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions over varied routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily routes, loads, and disposal activities for reporting purposes.
• Assist with routine maintenance checks and minor repairs to keep trucks in optimal condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely collection schedules and uphold high service standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with heavy trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B with Air break endorsement) with a clean driving record.
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy truck operation and basic maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and waste management.
• Delivery driver experience or familiarity with route planning is a plus.
