Recycling Operator/Landfill Assistant

Duties

• Operate heavy machinery including loaders, forklifts, front loader, Compactor.
• Assist with the collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable materials to maximize recovery rates
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure safety standards are met and maintained
• Perform cleaning duties around the landfill site and recycling areas to uphold sanitation standard.
• Maintain accurate records of daily operations.

Experience

• Strong attention to detail for equipment inspections and cleanliness standards
• Basic understanding of environmental regulations related to waste disposal and recycling processes
• Or willing to train.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
