About the Job

We’re hiring a Local CDL-A Truck Driver to haul household trash from the transfer station to the landfill in the Lafayette, Indiana area.
This is a union position (Teamsters Local 135) offering excellent pay, steady work, and home-daily routes. You’ll be driving new, well-maintained equipment for a family-owned and operated company that values safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Compensation & Benefits

• $72,000 – $85,000 per year (first-year potential)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely haul trash from transfer stations to landfill
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Follow DOT and company safety regulations
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communication with dispatch
• Represent the company with professionalism and a “can-do” attitude

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License (Required)
• 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience (Preferred)
• Clean driving record for at least the past 5 years (Required)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable, safety-minded, and punctual

Schedule

• Full-time, Day Shift, local routes
• Home every night – no overnights
• Consistent daily schedule with year-round work
