Junk Removal Specialist - Trained to Become Driver

Lift Away Junk Removal & Hauling LLC is a rapidly growing small business in Rockaway, NJ. Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with a valid and clean drivers license who are willing to drive a company truck after being trained on it. These trucks are about 16ft long in total and are small dump trucks. IF YOU ARE UNWILLING TO BECOME A DRIVER OR DO NOT HAVE A VALID AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD, THIS IS A NECESSARY REQUIREMENT. This is not a drive only position, you will also be a truck team laborer who does the lifting of the unwanted items while driving the vehicle the crew is in.

Must be physically fit to repeatedly lift heavy objects and move efficiently

Pay:

$19 - $35 per hour total
Technicians start at $19 per hour
Lead Technicians start at $21 per hour (Drivers)
After factoring in hourly rate, tips from clients, commissions, scrap metal bonuses, and performance pay commissions; our team averages $25-$30+ dollars per hour weekly

Requirements:

• Be 18+ years of age
• Have a valid drivers license
• Physically be able to lift 75 pounds + repeatedly
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and have a positive attitude
• Previous truck driving, physical labor, or customer service experience is a plus but not required!
• Moving Experience preferred

Typical Day:

You'll meet at our base location in Rockaway, NJ to be matched with team members and head out in one of our red trucks to visit customers' homes and properties. You will remove their unwanted items which can be furniture, construction debris, or any random household junk. We are a donation oriented company, so we go through the proper procedures to donate, recycle, or dispose of the items afterwards at a proper facility. The typical shift starts between 7am-745am. Looking for full-time or part-time and the typical shift length is anywhere from 8-12 hours, some days being shorter. We operate Mondays-Saturdays and Saturday availability is a preference.
