Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, skid loaders, tractor trailer, and dump trucks.
- Perform tasks such as digging basements, grading land, loading and unloading materials, and hauling equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete projects efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, dump trucks, graders, etc.
- Knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
