Job Summary

Duties
- Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen functions, to ensure smooth service and high-quality food delivery.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and consistency in taste and presentation.
- Supervise staff training, development, and performance management to cultivate a motivated and skilled team.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and health regulations across all departments.
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
- Oversee budgeting activities, including cost control measures related to food production, labor costs, and operational expenses.
- Foster a welcoming environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and hospitality excellence.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions focused on culinary skills, food presentation, service standards, and safety procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with vendors for catering or banquet events when applicable; oversee bar operations if present.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food service industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, interviewing candidates, training staff, and developing talent.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory tracking.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency in a hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations including shift management, food handling regulations, catering services (if applicable), and customer service excellence.
- Hospitality management background with fine dining or hotel experience is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to lead with energy and motivation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance in all areas of the restaurant environment.
