General Laborer - Demolition (and/or Asbestos)

We specialize in demolition, earthwork, & abatement. We are hiring demo laborers with construction experience and with a desire to work full time. Depending on the projects, you may be asked to work overtime and weekends!

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Accepting Graduated Apprentices
• 2 to 3 years of of experience on construction job sites specifically in demolition and/or asbestos projects.
• Asbestos Cert highly desirable
• Asbestos laborers must have current medical records and CA asbestos certificate
• Reliable transportation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable

Physical Demands

• Job requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, stretching, and lifting. Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, grip, twist
• Close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Hearing

Work Environment

• Exposure to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain
• Exposure to exhaust fumes and airborne particles
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to equipment noise at varying levels

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
