E-Waste, Battery Bi products and Scrap Metals Recycling Buyer

Ecoverse Solutions is a growing electronics and battery bi-products recycling company focused on sustainable recovery solutions, responsible recycling, and long-term customer partnerships.

As we expand our new Chino operation, we are looking for a motivated and professional Buyer to help grow our supplier network and purchasing operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, organized, resourceful, creative, and good with people. Industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with the right attitude and work ethic. This position does require some business travel.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive E-Waste, Battery Bi products, and Scrap Metals Recycling Buyer to join our procurement team. In this role, you will drive the sourcing and purchasing of electronic waste materials, batteries bi products, and scrap metals, ensuring sustainable and cost-effective procurement practices. Your expertise will help optimize supply chain operations, foster strong supplier relationships, and support our commitment to environmentally responsible recycling initiatives. Duties

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for E-Waste, Battery Bi products, and Scrap Metals through strategic sourcing and category management techniques.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements to secure optimal value while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage procurement activities within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms to ensure accurate purchase orders, inventory management, and supply chain visibility.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, quality management, and production planning and operation teams to coordinate material flow and ensure timely delivery of recyclable materials quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or quality issues; implement corrective actions to improve procurement efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive supplier management records; evaluate supplier performance regularly to foster continuous improvement.
• Drive purchasing growth and maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers
• Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), environmental standards, and safety protocols related to electronic waste recycling.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement management within electronics recycling or scrap metals industries; familiarity with sourcing E-Waste and scrap metals is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of inventory operating system or equivalent experience is a plus.
• B2B sales experience
• Excellent contract negotiation skills with the ability to develop mutually beneficial agreements while managing risk effectively.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management principles including logistics, pricing strategies, materials management, and vendor relationship building.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), quality management practices, and manufacturing processes related to recycling operations.
• Ability to perform category management analysis; conduct root cause analysis; utilize data-driven insights for sourcing decisions.
