Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and flatbeds with precision and safety.
• Load and unload freight, debris, or materials using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.
• Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, cargo details, and delivery records for compliance purposes.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently.
• Follow all safety protocols related to operating refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, or specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers preferred.
• Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route planning and navigation.
• Familiarity with operating dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, or tanker trucks is highly desirable.
• Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other lifting equipment when required.
• Knowledge of truck driving regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial vehicles.
