Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks and various heavy equipment to support construction projects, site development, and material transportation. Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction supplies across job sites.
• Skillfully operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery to assist with site preparation and ongoing construction activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Assist with site setup, material loading/unloading, and moving equipment as needed to support project timelines.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery operation and construction site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding work progress, equipment status, and safety issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and equipment usage for project documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction or heavy civil environment.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) equipment models is preferred.
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to operate multiple types of heavy machinery including grader operation and tanker/paving equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site logistics.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with equipment operation and site work. Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
