We are seeking a reliable and motivated CDL Driver / Septic Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for operating vacuum trucks, servicing residential and commercial septic systems, performing routine maintenance services, and providing professional customer service in the field.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while representing our company professionally. Experience in the septic, wastewater, or service industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum trucks and other company vehicles.
• Pump, clean, and service residential and commercial septic systems.
• Complete scheduled routes and service calls efficiently and professionally.
• Perform septic-related services including pumping, inspections, jetting, and basic repairs.
• Operate jetting equipment for line cleaning and maintenance.
• Assist with troubleshooting septic system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Transport and dispose of waste materials in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate service records, logs, and required paperwork.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide quality service.
• Keep vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and properly maintained.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class A or Class B preferred).
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily routes and responsibilities.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting, pulling, and handling hoses and equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Septic, wastewater, vacuum truck, or related service experience preferred.
• Experience operating jetting equipment for sewer and drain cleaning is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting septic systems, performing repairs, or replacing septic components is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose common septic and drainage issues and communicate solutions to customers.
