Bilingual (Spanish & English) Superintendent for Demolition

We’re looking for an experienced Bilingual (English & Spanish REQUIRED) demolition field superintendent who can lead, manage, and supervise.

• Pay Rate: Starts at $55k/year (depends on experience)
• Pay Frequency: Every Friday
• Position Type: Full-Time
• Start Time: 6:15 a.m.
• End Time: 4:30 p.m.
• Days: Monday - Friday (a couple of Saturdays, depending on the project’s urgency)

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Texas Driver’s License
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)
• CPR & First Aid Certificate (Preferred)
• Silica Awareness Certificate (Preferred)
• Fall Protection Certificate (Preferred)
• PPE Awareness Certificate (Preferred)
• Proper Lifting Certificate (Preferred)

JOB DUTIES:

Job Walks

Manage the day-to-day operations in the field with the crew and equipment.

• Bilingual (English & Spanish REQUIRED) - must be able to communicate effectively daily with Spanish speaking only laborers & English speaking only PMs, V.P. of Operations, Disposal Department, etc.
• Guides the crew while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Ensuring a safe working environment.
• Enforcing OSHA safety, procedure, and protocol guidelines.
• Follow the timeline and course of action according to the blueprints, PM, and budget.
• Communicating with subcontractors.
• Participate in meetings to discuss the project and its plans.
• Scheduling and coordinating laborers.
• Complete daily sign-in/time sheets.
• Determine what will be needed for the project a week in advance.
• Put in requests for material & equipment a week in advance.
• Ensure operators are completing equipment maintenance.
• Track the project’s budget.
• Complete documentation
• Daily sign-in/timesheets.
• Complete safety forms.
• JHAs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Six years of experience in construction/demolition
• Reading blueprints, specs, & plans knowledge
• Ability to lift over 65 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.

HIRING PROCESS:

• Texas Driver's License
• Clean Background (Military & Government projects require IdentoGo fingerprinting and background checks)
• Pass a drug screening for every project
• Proof of US citizenship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
