Assistant Superintendent/ Water and Wastewater operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our team at the City of Salem. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations for the City. This position will be responsible for helping maintain the City Water and Waste Water operations.

Duties

• Assist the Superintendent in managing all daily duties.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform Water and Sewer maintenance and construction to insure an adequate supply of water to meet customer demands on a 24 hour schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and reports.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.

Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools.
• Able to pass all State test.
